Here are your next steps:
- You will receive an email from The Standard asking you to review and sign your application. Simply click on the link in the The Standard email, review your application for accuracy and electronically sign it.
- The Standard requires one year of income verification.
Please upload the following: Complete 1040, W-2s and Schedule E OR Corporate Tax Return Form 1120S and Schedule K-1 (1120S) and W-2s. You can upload these now using this secure link: Upload Your Documents - A short medical exam may be required. This exam is paid for by the insurance company and performed by a nurse practitioner who can meet with you at your home or office. If required, you will receive a phone call from the exam company to set up a time.
- The Standard may also contact you to conduct a brief phone interview to verify the accuracy of your application.
Once your application has been approved, we’ll send out your policy to you. You can then rest easy knowing your income will continue if you are sick or hurt and can’t work!
